LIFELINE Warranty Details
IFELINE® Rescue Tools (hereinafter referred to as LIFELINE®) warrants that the enclosed LIFELINE® Tool was originally manufactured free of defects in material, workmanship, and mechanical function. For the two years from the original purchaser LIFELINE® agrees to correct any defect in the Tool for the original purchaser by repair, adjustment or replacement, at LIFELINE's option, with the same or comparable quality components (or by replacing the LIFELINE® Tool at LIFELINE's option); provided, however, that the LIFELINE® Tool is returned and freight prepaid to LIFELINE® at 1 Ethel Avenue, Hawthorne, NJ 07506.
This limited warranty is null and void if the LIFELINE® Tool has been misused, damaged by accident or otherwise, damaged through failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance as described in the owner's manual accompanying the LIFELINE® Tool, or if unauthorized repair or any alteration, including of a cosmetic nature, has been performed on the LILIFELINE® Tool. This limited warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear of any parts, namely, dulling to serrations (i.e., blade area). The LIFELINE® Tool is meant to be used in emergency situations only for rescue purposes. It has not been designed to withstand wear and tear over time from common everyday use. LIFELINE® markets LIFELINE® as a "Self-rescue/Rescue Knife" for marketing purposes only. This limited warranty is null and void if the Tool is used for common everyday use.
Subject to the foregoing, this limited warranty confers the right to have the covered LIFELINE® Tool or its parts repaired, adjusted, or replaced exclusively upon the original purchaser with proof of purchase, and this right is not transferable to any other person. No implied warranties of any kind are made herein, and this warranty does not apply to any accessory items attached or appurtenant to the LIFELINE® Tool.
In no event shall LIFELINE® be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from or in connection with this limited warranty. The following warranty information applies to the LIFELINE® Tool:
- If a knife fails to function as it was designed, we will examine its condition upon its return to LIFELINE®, identify the cause of failure, and respond in an appropriate manner.
- If we determine there is a defect in the manufacture/materials/workmanship, LIFELINE® will repair or replace that product with the same model or one of equal value at its own expense.
- If a problem with a returned LIFELINE® Tool is determined to be caused by something other than a defect in manufacture/materials/workmanship, LIFELINE® will inform you of whether the product can be repaired and the cost to you of having LIFELINE® implement such repair (see below). Upon agreement and payment, we will perform the repair.
- If LIFELINE® is unable to improve the condition of the LIFELINE® Tool, we will return it to you with the recommendation that it be retired from use. All costs associated with the shipment of the product(s) are the customer's responsibility.

- I have reviewed the Lifeline Rescue Tool Owner’s Manual and watched the official training provided by Lifeline Rescue Tools, LLC.
- I understand that this tool is to be used only in genuine life-threatening emergencies such as vehicle submersion, fire, or severe entrapment, and not for non-emergency use.
- I acknowledge that the performance of the tool may vary depending on my physical condition, strength, and mobility, and I assume any and all risks associated with its use.
- I hereby release and hold harmless Lifeline Rescue Tools, LLC, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any and all liability for injury, damage, or loss arising out of or related to the use or misuse of the product.
By Emailing LIFELINE with the word “CONFIRM”, I acknowledge and agree to the above terms, and I authorize Lifeline Rescue Tools, LLC to activate my limited product warranty based on these acknowledgments.
